I still have that chalkboard we used to write to each other on...I haven't written on it in a long time, but it still feels like it has something to say..
I have a special B-rabbit that has been with me almost 50 years, he looks pretty good for a old hare.......2nd I have my mom's old irish cardigan, it long, its heavy. When I need to wear it I can feel her arms around me and it smells of her perfume.
I have a wind-up toy set from my Grandparents era as well as toys from my own childhood that I hold onto. Now I better understand why ...something I've never actually verbalized. They do represent a part of me.
My mom's taupe kid leather gloves. They are long -- nearly to the elbow -- and elegant. I keep them in a ziplock bag to preserve their fragrance -- the leather and the oh-so faint hint of Chanel #5.
Janie, I feel like I can touch and see and smell those gloves so clearly the way you describe them. The smell especially. What is it like to still have an item that smells like your mom?
what about you friend Chloe

Also, I love that rabbit...he feels very much like the velveteen rabbit to me. <3
Wow, I didn't know that long Irish cardigan was your mom's...
I have a teacup and saucer that belonged to my late great grandmother. When I sip tea from it it’s like having tea with a family member I never met.
What an idea...having tea with someone you're related to but have never known. I love this.
Well jeez I can't love that enough Cory Lynn! <3 <3 <3
I wear my dad's winter hat every day <3
Ah Shenae <3
